Registrar Program
This practice is an accredited training centre for GP Registrar.
Alpha Medical Centre is fully accredited by Murray City Country Coast GP Training (MCCP). The Medical Centre is a teaching practise which is co-ordinated by GP Supervisor/RACGP Examniner Dr. Alade Sulola.
The training is both formal and informal in a well established, busy, state of the art building. The registrars have access to a wide range of acute, chronic diseases, allied health services and excellent supporting administrative and nursing staff.
The practice prides itself in providing excellent service and places priority on continuing education by organising and taking part in service seminars, presentations by pharmacy and various webinars.

Medical Students
Alpha Medical Centre is a teaching practice accredited by the Department of General Practise, Melbourne Medical School, University of Melbourne.
We are committed to hosting, mentoring and teaching medical (doctor) students who rotate in a 6 week block to the medical centre. Students are given remarkable learning opportunity with support from patients to be involved in consultations, observation at minor procedures, immunisation and also participating in teaching sessions.

Administrative & Nursing Staff
At Alpha Medical Centre opportunity is given for inservice training for administration and nursing staff in Infectious Disease, CPR & Occupational Health & Safety among many other topics.
Training adminstrative programs are also available for Year 11 or Year 12 High School Students who are given an opportunity to learn the role of Medical Administration/Reception as a pathway to future career in Medical Administration/Managers.
Opportunity also exists for the training of Pratice Nurses in areas of Health & Safety, Chronic Disease Management & Immunisations.
